That was just an ignorant comment. Why would he need to be proficient in English if he lives in Japan? His English is good enough to get the point across.

there are a lot of hot cars in Japan...
e.g. TOYOTA Crown Athlete

why do you want to have 3G TL so much instead of getting those nice JDM cars in Japan?

For the same reason we drool over JDM cars.....because here they're unique, and in Japan the U.S.-only 3G TL would be REALLY unique. Besides, isn't that car a dolled up Camry? It's certainly not bad looking with those 19's or 20's on it.

Yes, sir. They are called the O.Z. Galilleo III and they are quite an expensive wheel since they are 3 piece. The 19's are already in the $800+ range. They look amazing on the TL

And, yes Neuron Bob, you did spell it correctly. Baka Yaru!

Oh and on a lighter note, we both speed Sugoy wrong, it's Sugoi

Thank you JP!

Its great knowing that you guys love the TL in Japan. We have had this feeling for the Nissan Skyline GTR for years now. We cant get it in the U.S. until next yr I hope.

The great thing I love about the TL going to Japan is that people in Japan go crazy on upgrades. This means that the TL will have more options to choose from when customizing it.

Thanks for the link. That was a nice review, especially written from the standpoint of that racer (if I understood the Babelfish translation properly). 315PS, 19's, and the body kit really make a difference in a car like that.

I could almost say that these designs appeal most to the opposite country in which they were released. This combined with the fact that they were unavailable in those countries made them items of obssession

Unfortunately. Many of us already know about the Inspire/American Accord connection. It's still fugly, no matter where in the world it is. Eww. Two more payments left on our 2001 Accord, and for once I don't feel like upgrading the wife's car.

Neuronbob, I must say, it came as quite a shock to me when I learned back in 2004 that Honda decided not to continue the Inspire lineage with the current the new 3G design. What shocked me even more was that Honda opted to go with the current USDM Accord design. Do you happen to have any insight into why they decided to do this?

I was shocked too!!
IMO, HONDA is gonna set up Acura in Japanese market pretty soon. In order to do so, she must have to move the complete Acura line from US to JP.
Therefore TL will be not called INSPIRE in order to stand out of HONDA.
The current USDM Accord now called JDM INSPIRE is not right IMO. JDM HONDA knows that USDM Accord is a family sedan but it is the best choice to fill this space according to the size. In order to "upgrade" to INSPIRE level, she has to re-package the USD accord by swapping the interior of Acura TSX and adding some new stuff to it.

Quick Reply: I will get 3G TL in Japan
