Do it!
Nothing a little adhesive remover, clay bar, wax can't handle.
Door moldings should be outlawed

Can someone post a black TL with removed moldings that may give me a push to go ahead and do it?

The last thing I want to do it reapply them

Trust us, the door mouldings do 100% absolutely nothing to improve the looks of the TL so you do not have to worry about wanting to put them back on. Plus all they are is a dealer added accessory that some dude slapped on. It's not like they came installed on your car from the factory. Atleast I don't think they did. Not only that, but I bet that moulding strip would line up with maybe 1 out of 10 doors from other cars, meaning they pretty much do nothing to prevent door dings. Lastly, I'm sure your not gonna be parking your perfect 16,000 mile 04 in the middle of the Walmart parking lot as I'm sure you park smart:-)

Also, one guy mentioned changing ALL fluids. Don't go busting your ass worrying about that. The fluids are probably just fine and get to them when time permits. For some reason people see low mileage and think it's a bad thing. It's actually opposite, it's the high mileage cars people should be concerned about. My 07 Type S had 1,380 miles on the odo in early 2013, meaning it sat indoors a LOT. Guess what, the tires didn't dry rot off the rims, the serpentine belt didn't crack and fall off, the oil didn't turn black on its own lol. Would it be a bad idea to change fluids? Absolutely not, but don't worry too much about it is all I'm saying. Go drive that puppy!
