I finally made up my mind and popped for a 2007 carbon bronze pearl TL w/nav tonight around 9pm CST. I paid $31500 + 670 delivery + TTL. They threw in wheel locks, body and window etching and color keyed splash guards. I think I got a good deal, but regardless I am committed now .

I want to thank everyone here for all the information contained in the forums, both pro and con, related to the TL. Without this info I probably would have never made up my mind.

I haven't picked up the car yet because the dealer is sending the car to my tint shop. Hopefully I will have it tomorrow afternoon after I get off work.

Great color choice! I think you will be happy. What color interior did you get?

 

I went with the ebony. My wife made the comment that she didn't like the taupe/parchment interior because of the way the lighter color clashed with the darker dash panels. I have no fashion sense so I couldn't argue one way or the other. I liked the ebony in addition to the lighter interiors so it is all good in the end.

By the way WantnOne, the pics you posted of your CBP were one of the deciding factors in going with the CBP color. Thanks for the pics!

 

Welcome and congratulations. I think you'll like your TL and this forum. Even if you don't mod your TL like many of the younger members, you can learn a lot here.
I usually take my TL to the dealer for servicing and fixes*, but I still check the forum for info on costs, service bulletins, and owner tips.

* Very few problems over 20 years of owning four Acuras.

Same here! Just traded in my 04M 3.5RL and got myself a 07M TL Type-S!

 

Cool. Originally I wanted a Type-S but was a little pricey since where I live you can pretty much only get them new at MSRP, however I have no regrets with my 6MT.

Haven't put enough miles on my car to really use my navi. But from what I'm hearing, it sounds like a big improvement over my 3.5RL. Can't wait to hear how navi speaks out the street names.

I'm still trying to break it in. But I'm tempted to punch it!

The new Navi says the street names? Are you sure? I think it just says "next left" and displays the street name.

Yep, pictures are coming as soon as I get some house related projects finished (painting, moving furniture, etc).

I am loving my TL! I also got my clear bra installed and it has already saved my front bumper a couple of times (lots of road construction here in the Dallas area).

 

Hey congrats on your new TL I have an 05' and I love it to death! What a great car this is, especially for the money. The new one is even better so enjoy it and best of luck with it.
