looks pretty good....
my one concern:
can those "little squares" in the sill collect dust/water in them? is it possible? cause i could just see a lot of dust/dirt/water get caught in there and then it would be pretty difficult to clean...might have to take out a toothbrush or a cotton swab lol
besides that, i think it looks hot!!!

i like 'em. no idea what the prices would be, nor how much it would cost to install...but i'm interested!
my comments:
is the blue close enough to our gauges?
how tough would it be to have the krinkles at top and bottom be lighted as well?
i might want to get just the front, but i guess that would depend on price.
so, please pay the vendor fee so we can get that group buy started.

Right now they will come in Acura and Acura-TL , It will be sold as a 4 sill set. Waiting to here back from Rets and Smitty I sent a PM to both of them. Cant discuss price or group buy until then but look back at the first few pages of the thread to get a close Idea.
Dimples are not as deep as you think. Can be cleaned with a cloth, Only color offered right now will be Blue, More colors to come most likely a hyper white is next. Still have to match the dash color we should be pretty close and the goal is 100% match.
They are wired up simple 2 wires and one is a ground. Instructions will be created in the next week or so by and electrical tech with a masters in enginering,
Will come with a 1 year warranty against defects.

what kind of bulbs are inside of the sills and are the checkers lit up aswell, and i know you said not to ask about prices, but can you give a possible ballpark figure or maybe some sort of trade-in value or something along those lines, this mod is amazingly clever and i really hope it does well...

Supercomputers, it looks good from what I see. Count me in. Im sure the color will be close to the dash, if not 100%, it will be close enough from the distance between the two.
I think wiring would be my question. how hard and instructions.

nice..
sitting on the fence for this one. already have the blue led's installed on my ABP and nothing but compliments but worried if the sills might make things look too ricey. I think the wiring shouldn't be too bad depending on the current draw of the lights for the sills. Probably could run everything in parallel, perhaps using some molex or amp quick disconnects between each sill, and wire in an add-a-circuit to the fuse box.
If current draw is an issue, it would be really tricked if you put for example a roller-type-switch for each sill so it would light up when the corresponding door opens. I mean, how often will you have all 4 doors open at the same time. So if you only have 1 or maybe 2 doors open at one time, hopefully current draw will be small enough to avoid any blow-outs and you'll get the same effect.

Supercomputers .. nice work looks like they will have been worth the wait.
Special-ed - Supercomputers said they're EL tape .. extremely minimal current draw. You could probably even wire them in parallel to the door light switch with minimal effect.

excellent job Supercomputers, that looks as close to OEM as anything. I'm very impressed, hope to hear about the sale of these soon. Thanks for the hard work!

Dave,
I have fully paid up some time ago. Just wondering what date you are shipping out the sill plates? Have you received the order from Germany? Looking forward and to reading the install sheet.
