I hate corrosion

My TL is an 06 and many of the bolts in the engine compartment are corroding. The bolts that are holding the air filter housing in place look horrible. Is there anywhere that I can buy stainless steel bolts to replace them with? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

You could go to your Acura dealer and buy screws, bolts, clips =P

Or you can go to any hardware store...

What material are they holding together? You don't want to be using dissimilar metals.

I would rather not have to replace them with more oem bolts because they will begin to corrode again. I know they make kits of stainless bolts for many domestics but I could not find anything for the TL.

Very true. Having things sieze up or corrode even worse than stock hardware is not fun.

To the OP, I doubt you're going to find a stainless bolt kit for a TL. Imports just don't seem to have stuff like that. All you need is the dimensions and thread pitch to order custom bolts in whatever material you want. Keep in mind what Jesstzn said, you can make the issue even worse by having dissimilar metals rubbing together.

Due to price, you might look into the coating of your choice.

I guess this is one of the few advantages to living in CA. My car looks new underneath and under the hood.

I saw a product this weekend on a tv truck show-
it wipes on and dries fast, 2 coats will protect exposed aluminum for a few years,,
they were making bare metal firewall for race cars

they also showed it being sprayed from a can onto the brake calipers, bolt heads etc
and claim a year or two between application,, depending on weather and exposure- prevent any ugliness from occuring
