I used to be on this site all the time when I had my 99TL. I sold it and bought a 04 Tahoe(big mistake), but I got back here as soon as I could. About a week ago I purchased a 07 TL and I love it! My question for y'all is did acura fix the transmission problem? I had to replace mine in the 99TL.

I'm not really looking to mod it too much but have been thinking hard about the led interior/license plate and installing an infinity basslink(I think the 99 sound system sounds better than this ELS one) Thoughts? suggestions?

 

Welcome back!! I'm sure your gas mileage will be considerably better now. There don't seem to be as many issues with the transmission after the 04/05's just change out the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches and maybe change to a synthetic fluid. I do disagree that the old Bose system sounds better. I like the ELS just fine but it's probably just a personal preference. Enjoy the new ride.

The Bose sound system in the 2G CL/TL blows the "ELS" shit out of the water. I loved my Bose in my 01 CL-S and I'm less than impressed with the TL system.

 

^really? i havent heard the bose in the 2g tl but i like the els in the 3g tl. its got very good sound quality. its not super loud or anything flashy but i really like the clarity. plus when i watch dvds, i turn the surround sound option on and it feels like a concert hall in my car. nothing but compliments on my stock system.
