That depends. From dig to sub 100 mph the gen won (gen 1, for you newbs) is faster. From high speed roll the genpu (gen 2) is faster due to improved intercooler cooling design and factory revised ECU which makes better power in the highs. Your Auto TL is very slow however. Even with all that mod it will be much slower than my MS3 from roll.
Ah man that's not funny.. quit making fun of my cool ride.

I've had an S2000 and a TL 6-speed... both are great cars for different reasons. S2000's handling and decent straight line power + driving feel + reliability are incredible, as are the TL 6-spd's good handling, great fuel economy, great engine, and comfort/luxury.
Overall, most people should have both: TL for daily, S2000 for track/weekends.
But I prefer my new car over both, as it has the handling + responsiveness + lightweight of the S2000 with the horsepower/torque of the TL.
And yeah, it rapes Mazdaspeed 3's like nothing.

Ill bet anything you want that every one of the cars I drive (all my families cars) will beat yours. BMW M5, BMW X3 35i, Chevy silverado 2500 duramax, or my TL. Which ones do you think you can beat? 1/4 mile only for the truck.
