I couldn't wait to buy it any longer...

Finally did it, put a down payment on a NHB ebony interior 04 TL 6spd with Navi...waiting for dealer to get the car in. Want to thank all the guys here for a great and informative forum. It allowed me to be real informed about my purchase and appreciate what a great car im getting. Oh yeah, the final price agreed on was 33,650...thought it should have been a lil lower but I am more than pleased to settle at that number. I'm literally going crazy waiting for the car...any suggestions on how to ease the anxiousness would be appreciated!

go the the hospital and steal some sleeping gas. Have someone wake you up on pick-up day.

BTW, congratulations on your new TL. Have fun with it.

Umm what the hell is NHB exterior color? Only colors I know of are the acronyms: SSM, WDP, DMM, RRP, DGP, ABP, AM, NBP. That covers them all. If their is a color I don't know about let me know.

Congrats. Mine is Anthracite/Ebony/6MT/Nav. You'll love it and look for silly little excuses to take it out. I tell my wife I'm going out for a TL moment.

Careful at least the first 600 miles (stretch it to 1000.. never hurts). Then just enjoy the smile on your face.

What this forum really needs is a sticky post with a translation of the color abbreviations into their one-word equivalents, for those of us too lazy to memorize the abbreviations. Like this:

SSM = Silver
WDP = White
DMM = Sand
RRP = Red
DGP = Green
ABP = Blue
AM = Grey (or Charcoal)
NBP = Black

Of course, people could just start referring to colors by their common one-word names, but that's probably asking too much. [Sociology mode=ON] One way that members of in-groups differentiate themselves from outsiders is by the use of in-group jargon. [Sociology mode=OFF]
