How to route wires from trunk to front?
Guys,
I've tapped into my XM line using 2 relays and a switch in order to make an AUX input solution for my MP3 player. Now my question is, how do I remove the trim panels to route the wires to the front of the car. Are the trim pieces on the sides easy to remove? Are they held in by screws or clips. Any info is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Y2J

Are you refering to the (interior) rear quarter panel trim?
Anyways, will you lose XM radio & will your volume be reduced to half?
Would like to see pics as you progress on your project.
Good luck!l

Yeah, the inerior rear quarter panel trim. I should have taken some pics as I was installing, but everything is taped off now, I'll pull out the XM one last time when I do the final routing of the wires to the front and take some pics of the unit. No, you do not lose volume and you do not lose XM. Not sure who started those rumors, but I'm an EE out of Purdue and neither of those happen when using a relay.
