how to remove the chrome piece on hood and trunk
I need some help removing the chrome piece from the hood and trunk. I got everything else off by removing the front bumper but I am now stuck with these last two pieces.

Looking for new mods
Open the hood, there are four rubber stoppers, pull them out. You will see the four bolts.THen you will need an 8mm socket, un screw all four. There is aclip holding the garnish towards the center, Pull the granish forward and slide to the rigth. It is very likely the clip will break, sometime it doesnt. the new one alwasy brings the clip, so dont be afraid to break it or pull on it. Pop the new one...Put the nuts on the bolts.. .. the stoppers back in and yuo good to go.. about 10 minutes.

as for the trunk, u have to remove the lining from the trunk and unscrew the whole liscence plate area and then unscrew the chrome trim

Most likely the clip will break off. It's ok since its not needed at all, the 4 studs/nuts is plenty to fasten the piece onto the hood. I think it's only there for factory assembly purpose.
