Just wondering how to pop out those black plastic bumper grilles. I want to evaluate the difficulty of installing mesh or painting the grilles. Thanks for the help.

 

They pop out from behind, they are just held in by plastic tabs.

 

That looks great. I have the WDP, and the main thing I don't like is the little part at the end of the middle section that points towards the Acura name. It looks as if something is missing when you look at it from a distance, but I think that painting the whole insert really looks nice.

Did you have to remove the bumper and push them out the back, or do they come out from the front when you push those little tabs in each corner?

Did you get a body shop to paint them; if so, how much did it cost?

 

There are 6 tabs total 3 on the bottom and 3 on the top you can push the tab up and work from left to right or right to left what ever your prefrence is. Once you do that they just pop out the front side. I called the Acura dealer for replacements just incase I wanted to do something in there and they said they cost about 9.00 each.
