How old are TL-S drivers ?

Just wondering. Whenever I see posts I notice its from pretty young guys so I figured I would do a poll. Im in the 36-45 category myself and my wife has advised me on numerous occasions this is my mid life crisis car.

also..

I know there is a general "how old are TL drivers" thread but this is just for Type-S drivers. Being the Type S is more of a performance oriented car and definitely more "racer" like, I am curious of the age group of people who choose them.

I’d like to point out; I fall in the 18-25 Range. I am 23 and I am out of school with my Bachelors, not living with my parents. I work full time as a Systems / Network Administrator for a private company in CA.

i fall in the 18-25 range. I'm 21 and work full-time as a manager for a printing company while also going to school full-time for a management degree. The tl-s is the first car i have purchased on my own and definitely don't take it for granted.

The demographics have dramatically changed ever since I've been browsing these forums since 2006 or so. TL has become more affordable, so more younger people buy them. Nothing wrong with that though! Many new and cool mods to our TLs have come about as a result. Its nice having a mixture of ages.

I agree but this is only for Type S ! We already have a "how old are tl drivers thread" Type S's arent that affordable these days anyway. Look at autotrader, people are asking almost as much as when they were new!

No Type-S here, but I don't view it as a mid life crisis car. I'd reserve that label for something more along the lines of a Vette, an M3 or even a classic muscle car one has always lusted after. ('69 Z-28 would be my choice)

Voted my age, but I identify more with the 36-45 description. If only you had set 47+ as the mid-life crisis age!

I was technically 25 when I got my Type S. Out of school, full time job, just got married and bought house within the past year.

42 years old, 2 kids, '07 NBP TL-S, 6 MT, Bunch of mods...

I really love my car, and I'm bordering on that 'mid-life crisis' era... but if I were to really blow my wad on 'mid-life car', it would be a fully restored '59 Corvette.

Unfortunately, the need for practicality (kids and a mortgage) limit me to a 4-door sedan. The Acura is a nice trade-off.

Jimmy

Damn, I am 33 with 5 kids and a rocky marriage but I do what I want and have wanted this car for a while now. I stopped playing with honda's as project cars to get my S. So I guess this would be my mid-life crisis car.

According to your poll, if you're older than 45, this is your mid-life crisis car???? Really???

Already been there, done that...I got the Type S because it rocks.

Well Mr. Steven Bell I thought I oldest guy with a TL-S on here but I see it is a tie for now unless somebody can beat 54. I don't know what a mid-life crisis is but I'm sure I will one day. I think I would choose a different car for a mid-life crisis though. For now I just needed something that gets good mileage (100 miles round trip to work everyday) and I can get the kids in that wasn't to boring.

I'm 24 going to skool and living with my parents. I Think a TL-s Is great for all ages. If you have one and your young it doesn't scream "spoiled brat" cuz its affordable since the new model is out now, its sport luxury, and young ppl love speed. if I saw an old person driving a Type S, I would think "Now that's a cool guy!"

I will say that KBP is a young person's car color cuz it makes the car go to the "boy racer"realm.

Yeah my dad liked mine after I have been telling him to buy a 3g TL since they came out.

But we trade, he has a 07 mustang gt convertible that he is modding lol.
So I get my sideways fix with his car and he gets his luxery? fix with mine.
