Base TL's everyday. Type-s's not as often, maybe once every 2 weeks. I'm sure I'll see them more often in the spring.

as far as the type s.....ive only seen one MRP in person...most common ones i see where i live are WDP,NBP...

 

i have seen one other type s other than mine, at where i am living now, other than that seeing a tl in general or even an acura for that matter is quite rare

Well obviously every time I enter my garage.. and once or twice a week when I hit the road..

 

I live in Minnesota (St.Paul) and have only seen a couple. They seem to be pretty rare around these parts. Lots of TL's but no Type-S. I have seen an old lady driving a NBP and old dude with his ASM but that is about it. In addition to mine of course that I see everyday. LOL

 

The Army installation I work at, there are one of each color to include 3 CBP TL-S (including mine), but not 1 MRP TL-S.

On a another note just got back from a quick run to Advance Auto and had a KBP TL-S in front of me and a CGP TL behind me....

 

I have a MRP Type S.

I have only seen one other MRP TL, and it was not a Type S. It also had the tan interior. So I have never seen one like mine in person with the black interior.


When I bought it, I had the choice of MRP, KBP, or black. I did not know the MRP was so rare at the time, but I chose it.
The thing that stood out the most to me.... I went to look at them all at the dealer the night before I went in to purchase, and I just loved that the taillights of the Type S and the MRP blended together perfectly..

Kinda stupid reason for liking a color, but I'm happy with it!

I wish they made more of them.

But of TL's vs TL-S in Omaha, I see maybe 2-3 TL's a week, but only 1 TL-S every month, on average.

Im in NYC and I dont see them very often I see Blue most of the time in the Type -S. I see Red Base models more often

 

MRP here, and i do actually live in the Bridgewater area.

 

I see a NBP Type-S with an A-Spec kit every morning on my way to school driving in the opposite direction, driven by a lady.

Other than that though, not too often. I've only ever seen ONE KBP TL Type-S and it was gorgeous. Also haven't seen too many WDP TL-Ss in my area. Most tend to be black, red, and bronze.

 

I've got an 08 MRP and have seen a few others in Milwaukee. Yesterday filling up at the (hey you @#$holes ate $50 from my wallet) local Mobil gas station I was next to 2 other Type-S' filling up. Only seen one KBP in more than a year. Seems the blue ones are as scarce around here as blue M&M's used to be.

 

I see a ton of regular TL's, just not many Typs S's.
I see more new tl's then type S's. BTW is the red on the Type S different than the regular TL red ?
I know I prefer the carbon bronze over the bronze thats on the regular TL.

 

The red on the base TL is the same as the TYPE-S. I have an 07 Base TL in Moroccan Red Pearl with Taupe Interior.

 

I have an 07 MRP Type S, and 4 months after I bought mine I saw another one with VERY similar specs at the Carmax where I purchased mine, for 2K cheaper. After that I see TL-Ss once a month, TLs like 3 times a DAY, and burgundy/reddish Base TLs pretty often.

There are 2 MRP Type Ss that lives somewhere on my side of town, and one Saturday morning, all three of us where on the highway at the same time--coincidence? I think not.

 

I was next to a MRP 6spd today. Was stuck at a light next to him and saw him shifting so I know it was manual. Dont see those very often, then the other day I saw a CBP, ASM, and NBP TL-S all in the same day. This is very rare I hardly ever see that many all together.

 

I have seen 2 since I started looking for them on the road...So say 2 in 6 months...I see a NBP one like mine on post and see a KBP one at school...

 

I was standing in my driveway on the phone Friday night just as it was getting dark and two Type-S drove by, both black. Didn't have my keys in my hand or I would chased them down!

 

I was at Acura of Omaha on the 14th getting my p.s. hose recall done on my TSX. They had a carbon gray type s in for service. As I was picking up my car I saw that they had a red type s on the lot. I had to park my car and take a look at it. Man, they are so nice. Of course one of the dealers came out to chat me up. Yeah, not today. It was the first time I've seen the 3rd gen TL in red. Really sweet.

 

I'll go days w/o seeing any TL's and then one day, I'll see quite a few.

The other day at the stealership, I saw a WDP TL-S in service and there was a MRP TL-S on the lot for sale. Later that day, I saw a NBP TL-S at a shopping center. Then, on the way home, I saw another WDP TL-S that I got behind at a stoplight.

All TL-S and no base models.

 

i just saw my first red tl-s today!

 

Go months without seeing one. Did see a black one the other day though....

 

I see a Red Type-S daily..when I get in a drive mine lol. Sorry I had to chime in. Other than mine I see a red base TL in my neighborhood and I have seen maybe 1 or 2 other Type-S of other colors.

 

They're all over the place here. What's really rare are the A-Specs.

 

TBH this is one of the big reasons I bought a Type-S. When it came down to it my choice was between a g-35 and a TL, and you just see g35s everywhere. No doubt they are cool cars that have a very unique sound, but all in all its not a very unique car.

G-35s are also a lot less roomy on the inside than the type-s and once i heard on youtube that with some small modifications you can make them sound nearly as good as the Infiniti, I was sold.

 

I see a red one every time I go into the garage.

 

I've actually never seen TL-S, just the base models here and there.

 

If anyone lives in NJ and enjoys rarely seeing Type S' stay away from Perth Amboy, i work there and i'm pretty sure there are at least 6 Type S in the area, of cours mine is there too but i only work there, other than this

I've spotted 1 Black, Blue and Red Type-S in Stamford, CT. Hoping to join the club with a Carbon-Bronze this week.

 

I see them everyday, one in our neighborhood(black) and two at work(a CBP and a MRP).

 

After searching for 3-4 months for a Base TL, I finally settled on a TL-S, and it just so happens to be red. I usually see white or silver though.

 

Of the 9 colors offered for 2008, only KBP is exclusive to the TL-S.

3 colors are only offered to the base: Polished Metal Metallic, Royal Blue Pearl & Bold Beige Metallic.

I would assume 2007 is the same.
