How much real leather

What parts of the seats are leather and which parts aren't?

That's a good question, does anyone know if more than just the perforated stuff is leather?

Just feel it, you can tell.

As far as I can tell after treating it today, the seating surfaces and the partial sides are leather, in the back, only the two outboard postitions are leather, center is not.

This is more than was on my maxima?

I find it hard to tell really, the vinyl is good quality and it feels good too. good to hear that the whole seating surface is leather and a bit on the sides. In my old TL some of the seating surface at the edges were vinyl. Therefore when you sat on it what you could still see was vinyl and it was a different texture than the leather and it was noticeable.

I found it harder to tell on my nissan than on the acura, mine is a different texture/softness.

Without a photo, it is hard to show, sorry.

I just checked this out a few weeks ago on our '02 MDX, so I could apply the right kind of Lexol to the right surfaces (actually in response to something I read here about leather care).

It easy to tell after checking out the various surfaces and comparing the feel. The vinyl is noticeably rougher, the leather very soft.

In the '02 MDX, only the lower backs of the two front rows of seats are vinyl...all the rest (front, side, headrests) of the two front rows are covered in leather. The third row was all vinyl.

Interestingly, parts of the doors (perforated parts) are also leather, as were the console cover, shift knob and steering wheel.

By the way, reviews here were useful, Lexol seemed like really good stuff! Same for the ClickandClack suggestions on blind spot elimination!
