Bought my '07 Carbon Gray Pearl (No Navi) from a private party in Northern California on 5/21/08 for $26,500. The car had 14,410 on the clock and was uncommonly clean. I love this car.

I bought my 04 TL 6MT 41k about 1 month ago for $15.5k +TTL (clean title, good condition). I knew going in that it needed new front brakes and tires though.
The car is great. I'm glad I made the purchase.

thank you everyone for your quick replys, your info was really helpful
i think i might just try and get a 08 TL-S
so far the best deals i've seen are
08 TL-S for 35k OTD, do anyone have any idea around how much TTL
and a 08 TL-S for $32.328 + TTL = any ideas?
i am thinking to get this car around end of july or august around the time when the new 09 TL would be announced so i might get a better deal, and because its also near the end of the year
unless anyone have better suggestions on the best time to get the best deals on my new TL-S

But again, if you have to have a car with 0 on the odometer and are okay with paying for it, go for it!

got my 08 TL-S back in april for 35715 plus destination (before TTL) They even added the etch auto theft program for 5 years. I guess i could have gotten a better deal. The only reason i paid alil extra was because they didnt have my color that i wanted.

Just picked mine up on friday: '05 SSM, 5AT w/ Navi & 44K miles - $22,700 before TTL. Not CPO, but did get the service contract for 100K mile bumper to bumper warranty.
I still can't wipe the smile off my face - I love this car!

Bought my 05 AT Non-Nav TL with 29k miles for $20k(asking "red-tag sale" price was $22,995 at a Honda dealer in Los Angeles). I haggled on the same car with the dealership for three weekends in a row to get that price. They put brand new tires on it too! It seems that the area that cars are purchased can sometimes play a big role in the price. In Southern California I got an excellent deal...but if the car was in the Midwest or down South, the price may have been a little less.

I just got home yesterday with my new TL. It is a 2006 Anthracite Metallic, w/o nav. 25,500 miles, for $20,795. I bought it at Alpine Buick in Denver. They had me 4 weeks ago on this at $23,488, but would not give me what I wanted on my trade. I just sat back and watched them drop it down the last few weeks. Went in yesterday and did cash, instead of trade. The car runs like it just rolled off the truck new, and is super clean inside and out. Neighbor said the same thing drives and feels brand new. Carfax looked very good it was a one owner vehicle. Wish it had nav., but still a steal, imo.

Just purchased my wife a New 2008 TL base for $27,927 +ttl. Also got .9% financing for 36 months. With the current $3,500 manufacturer-to-dealer incentive COMBINED with the .9% financing, I could not justify buying used. It is my understanding that program is still available.

Wow, good deal on a new one. About 2 years ago I decided I would not buy brand new again. Cars are just built too good these days to justify a new car price tag. Even at your deep discount, your still in for $30,000 +/-. Yes a used one comes with risks of the unknown, prior to your ownership, but you just have to be picky. There are very good used 05/06 out there for around 20. I won't deny that if money were not a factor I would buy new, no doubt. I am not independently wealthy and if you are shrewd can still get a very good used , 05/06 for $8-10,000 less. Nonetheless, you definately scored a good deal on a new one at $28,000. Congrats and enjoy!

Just got 04 Ruby Red certified pre-owned about 3 months ago. auto w/o navi. 22k with TTT and extended warranty. 50k miles
Good thing I got that warranty. Second week I had it, drivers power window went crazy. And now I've serious cold start vibration (more than normal). All covered. They ordered the parts and will be installed next week. Oh yeah, they already replaced about half of the interior lights too. (steering wheel controls/vsa light/hazard light, etc)
Could have saved $1000 going with a used car dealer but I would have had no coverage. with this latest fix I've already used that $1000 and I still have nearly 3 more years of bumper to bumper coverage. You get a loaner if there is a prob and my dealer thew in oil changes and tire rotations/balances during my warranty period. I did not get the very best deal but still came out with my shirt.
