This kind of topic is done on several forums (BMW/Lexus/Infiniti). Around here we have many TL's. A TL and a base 3 series are the most common cars around here no joke .

But I think after modding it up it would look unique and nice...so for all you on here how much attention does your TL get? And who notices it the most...girls, guys, other cars?

I may get a couple "Nice A-spec" comments a year.

I think I get more looks because of my exhaust than what I have done aesthetically to my car. People see the TL and don't think it sounds the way it does. ATLP FTW!

Agree on that one... Intake, PCD's, XLR8 Non-resonated gets a lot of attention.

Around me i think i am 1 of 2 tl-s and about 3-4 base models. Unlike dan i only stick out like a sore thumb at night when i open my doors!!

2. Second Gen TL drive rolls up next to me and gives me thumbs up
3. Two girls in a car next to me, honked at me and started cheering

. I am enjoying my TL. No offense but I think my 3rd gen looks better then a 4th gen TL. If I wanted I could have gotten a 2009 TL but I think I made the right choice with my 08.

Type S was a option...but not my favorite color. Silver on tan.

I will admit Ive had ppl say 'I like your car" a couple of times.

Once from a guy working the drive-thru window at Portillo's
once from the guy working the parking garage booth.
once from a girl at the mcDonalds parking lot.
once from a guy in the parking lot walking to his car
i think thats pretty good for an 08 Base TL WDP. with only tints for a mod and an ebay lip spoiler.

Well if we are talking about how many times I've heard "nice car" or "I like your car", I hear that a few times a week. People in my classes, co-workers, etc.

i get some attention.........def from other 4th gen owners with & without rims .... ........TL owners that have older models that are interested in he new TL............females that are either gold diggers ..or just like shinny hot cars lol .......so far all i have is rims ............and 50 % tint ...............if i decide to keep the TL i will be doing more to it and might get more attention........

i've even caught a couple of people with cars that i think are better than mines checking mines out .......lol

You can't swing a dead cat around here without hitting boatload of BMW's, MB's, TL's, CTS's, etc. Nobody notices.

Got some love from a mustang Gt and a nissan 370 yesterday,a couple days ago a guy who owns a type s at the bank said he told a friend he saw the hottest Tl in the rtp area (meaning my car)

^^the honest truth is the TL is a eye catching car ......especially when it has mods.....and is cleaned up.........like yeah it's not no aston martin ......it's not no Mseries BM......But it's a TL a TL dammit .....lol .......one of the most saught after ,cheaper than most luxury sport sedan ........

I know people with 750's that still own a TL .....

Not to much attention during the day, maybe a nice car here and there. At night I get more looks than anything, maybe it's because of the yellow foglights and angel eyes, hopefully it's a good stare lol. I'm the only one in town with a TL, nice living in a small area.

Mine gets attention. But you can tell the "car people" ask more specific questions about the mods. The non-car people will just say-nice car.....

My car is debadged as well. When you roll in front of another car that is also debadged, you will most gaurantee know that he / she is looking at details.

I find that once I finish a full detail (8-12 hours). A lot of people stare at it as they can see their own face in the reflection I also get a lot of "nice car" after that.

My car gets TONS of attention. I would go to a grocery store and I see people walking around my car looking.

I get people especially younger adults roll down there windows asking me what car and that I have a beast of a car.

And I get all of this just because my wheels makes my car stand out a lot. When I had my A SPEC gunmetals, I hardly got a compliment, but now I get one everyday.

I get a lot also. ive had people tell me to pull over at while we are sitting at a stop light so they can get a closer look lol. people are always saying nice car and stuff like that to. I love the ones when your driving and you see the car next to you out of the corner of your eye creep up next to you and stay there so all the people in the car can admire the sexy TL. It also brings a smile to my face when someone i know tells me someone they know was saying how they saw a really nice looking silver acura that was all fixed up driving around town (my car). My favorite memory was when i took my car to a classic car meet at my local church and my car ended up being the main attraction lol. gotta love how good the TL looks!

i just want it to stand out from the rest of the TL crowd in the area where there are tons of base and a couple stock type-s. my up coming mods should definetly seperate me hopefully.

a decent amount, our cars dont get as much attention as a BMW or any other lux car umm but ours look better imo

I've had a girl in a Red Bull Mini Cooper flash me with her tatas one time on the highway. Does that mean she likes my car or me? Other than enthusiasts, I rarely see other people checking out my car.
