How Many TL Owners Have Their 3G's Paid Off?
I thought this would be an interesting thread, I'm not sure if there has been one in the past but if so I've never seen it make its way to the top of the list. So how many people on here own their TL's outright? How many still owe? If you're comfortable with sharing the situation, what you originally put down when you bought it, or how long it took you to pay off, etc.
I personally bought my 2004 TL a month ago, I bought it outright for $11,800, its an Abyss Blue Pearl with 74k miles, Auto transmission, no nav.

bought my '07 type s last October for 25k cash.
should of used it towards the last 2 years of my university tuition but hey, interest rate on student loans in canada is next too nothing...

financing, bought 3 weeks ago... many bi-weekly payments to go lol. 5 years but planning to pay it off in 4 or less as I do crazy OT in winter. main reason i'm financing is to build my credit back up as I kinda fucked it up as a young one.

Paid cash for my '07 TL-S last year. Prior to that, got my '05 TL in '05 and paid that off in '10.

Bought new in July 2006 and paid off in 2008 after CD rates dropped below the 2.9% loan rate I had with HFC on the car loan. Making $400 payments to myself now for that next car someday- it builds up pretty quick with smart investments. Next car will probably be a cash deal because loan rates probably won't be this low in 3 years.

Interesting and refreshing to see that a lot of folks paid cash. Same thing here. Paid in full the day I got it. This is the first car I've ever paid for upfront and the freedom from monthly payments from day one is very nice.
