maybe if you could get the TSB with the actual cause of the Flashing malfunction indicator. I fully intend to have them fix that on my car before I install my injen.

They know the laws for your particular state and they get paid by the factory for repairs. When I had my 5.0 way back when, I had mods out the ass, dart WinJr. heads, E303, headers, 70mm TB, Pro-M, 4.10's and they never said anything when I brought it in for warranty work which was a noisy throwout bearing and a PS pump. I'm sure of one of the mods had been the cause (like a grenaded T-5) they wouldn't have covered it, but an intake isn't going to be the cause of anything.

If you are particularly worried you could do what the previous poster said and put the factory air box back on but if you're taking it in for an oil change or warranty work like a power window problem or something I wouldn't worry about it.

Did your MIL light always ON when you rev over 4K RPM? If so, just tell them this, and ask them to follow TSB to upload the new ECU software for you... This is FREE, factory warranty.

Then, you test-drive... make sure you do this damn update first if your RPM rev-up would cause this issue.

Any aftermarket parts should not void the warranty. Only maybe for the specific part that was replaced if not installed by the dealer. Thats what my service tech told me.
