How does the Type S ride compare to the base TL?

I'm looking for my next daily driver. I really want a Type S but I've heard that the stiffer suspension can be uncomfortable for daily driving. I've driven a base TL with Navigation and it drove great!

Base for what year?? Suspension changed for '07/'08 base compared to '04 - '06.

In terms of stiffness, I think it's something like:

TL-S ~= '04 - '06 MT > '04 - '06 AT > '07/'08 Base.

Don't know where you're at or how your roads are, but imho the TL-S is just fine, ride-wise, as a daily driver.

My daily driver is an 07 TL-S and I think it rides just fine. I recently had a 2011 TSX as a loaner while the dealership diagnosed and fixed a parasitic draw issue I had and the suspension felt all soft and squishy. The TL-S is much nicer to drive and I don't think the ride comfort suffers much from the stiffer suspension.

u mean softness? cuz you put < not >, you are saying that the tl-s suspension is less stiff than 07 base

You're correct. I've fixed them. Thanks for pointing out the error.

^^^ That's right, damn it....I wish it was. But it's a great daily driver. Stiff suspension, solid ride.
