How do you know when VSA activates?

This past winter my car got stuck in the snow and the tires were really slipping. I always have VSA turned on and don't recall seeing any noticible indicators. Does anything light up when VSA starts up? I do get the small icon at the bottom of the tachometer pod light up when I manually turn VSA off. Thanks.

I believe there is a triangle shaped indicator in the instrument cluster that would light up if you
A. turn off the VSA

or

B. lose traction etc

According to the owner's manual, which is an invaluable source of information, the VSA light will flash when it is active. It will come on and stay on if you turn off the VSA or if there is a problem with the VSA system. Otherwise, it will be off.

This indicator looks like the triangle with the exclamation point in it like the one in the user name area which opens the Bad Post Report.
