The seatbelt buckle is banging and scratching the the side wall. I am thinking of sticking a clear pad on the side.

Guide it back to its spot. Don't just let go of it.

I had the same problem when I got my '06 TL - I learned to hold onto it and guide it back towards the top and it doesn't do it. After a few times it becomes a habit and you don't have to think about it. Be careful too about having jewerly on and fishing something, like a cell phone, from between your seat and the console - you'll scratch the side of the console.

my solution..... put a rubber band around the buckle and it won't scratch and it won't make banging noise..... perfect solution..... and it looks good

out of the 34 threads you have started i can already tell that you have made no attempts to search.

plus have the time you are complaining. then you ask questions like this.......

Ive never seen anybody nit pick it is much as you. I understand that you have some issues but how bout a quick search for the site before you fire off a thread on your next random thought..
