How do you guy's feel?

I Love my TL. I have owned it for some time now and I still Love it. I still run into people that say, is that your TL, I love that car. Then there is some of my friends that think i should get another car that i could do more to. All i have to say about that is, why so i can have the same thing as everyone else. I see Honda civic's all over the place and half of them look the same.

I just wanted to see how everyone else felt... and I'm kind of bored

I drove my TL stock for over 2 years, then I modded the shit out of it. Now it feels like I'm driving a new car again

I love my car too and wouldn't trade it for anything right now (unless there was a really sweet Type S offer on the table...lol!). Been slowly adding a few mods to it from about Feb. of this year and it makes me look at the car from a whole different angle everytime I add something new.

Your car looks pretty stock, you should be more agressive with the mods... Jk

as far as going from a tl to a riced i mean modified civic, no way! I'd take comfort and style over a lowered civic with a crappy drop and an exhaust tip anyday!
And about modding a TL the only limit is your wallet there are plenty of options out there.

Your TL is hot as fuck! I smile every time I see pictures of it.

My girlfriend wanted me to buy this car. Now she hates it because I'm "over the top" with this car.

I love my TL too. Every time I unlock the door I just get that sweet feeling. There or so many TLs around me though. A lot more Accords, Civics, Camrys, and BMWs but the TL is right up there.

I hate my TL. Well, maybe not the car itself, but my addiction to modifying everything I drive. I went from a Honda Civic (slightly modified until I crashed at triple digit speeds - I was young and dumb) to a Ford F-150 (body almost fully modified) to what I thought was my savior, a mid luxury sporty sedan. I figured I was over the addiction.

With all the influence on this site, I feel like a teenager who doesn't want to drink at a keg party.

Damn you acurazine members! Damn you all!

Lolz.

x2 I just got mine yesterday and can't stay away from it. When things are slow at work I go sneak a peek. When I let the dogs outside, I walk over and admire it lol.

My TL is my favorite car so far but the only thing I regret is it not being a 6 speed.

Like everyone, I love this car.

I don't give a flying crap if people have 600whp F-Bodies or Mustangs, I'm still not going to bother DD with all that awful plastic & sub-par feel on the road.

I've had my car for 4 years now and I love it! I've pretty much got it to where I want it now and I'm completely satisfied with the car.

I wouldn't even trade it straight up for a new TL. I know that doesn't make sense financially but it's true. Not to mention that the new TL is just plain ugly!

I don't think everyone is switching to the 4G's buddy!! If you take a look at the 4G forum, it's not really happening. It's slow, it's quiet and there's not much action there. Blackura will hopefully change that a little. But we've got the "best of the best"-I think!

Another thing about the TL. Whenever I go somewhere like the mall I park way
out there to try and avoid door dings and as I walk through the parking lot I always look at the cars I walk by and I always think to myself "is it faster than my car?" "is it nicer or better looking?" "would I rather own this over my TL?" and to be honest the answer to at least 2 of those questions (specifically he third one) is always "NO". The onlytimes when it's not the case is for cars that are significantly more expensive.

Steven: I sence you don't have much love for the 4G. I bet this is a case of buyers remorse, and deep down you really love them... Just kidding

Buddy, you're right-I'm just not a fan. The looks totally turn me off. The 4G TL is starting to blend in to every other car to me. It doesn't have that distinctive look to it any more. There are some nice electronic updates like push to start and NAV Weather. Other than than, I can leave it for sure.

That's why I like this thread.....and our 3G TL's !!!

I'm getting bored of mine. I wish that day didnt happen when a kid caused an accident that left my TSX totaled. The 2nd gen TSX is growing on me as with the 4G TL.

I park far from other car to avoid dings as well lol. And the 3G is definitely where it's at. I just got my first head turn the yesterday while parked next to my house. The guy stuck his head out the window and just stared at the car as he went by lol.

You all hit the nail on the head n stuff...lol

I always feel proud driving this car. It's stock! (minus the UR pulley and tint). Springs are being installed this week and I can't WAIT. Stock, this car still gets lots of attention and turns heads.

I sometimes wonder if I should have tried harder for a 6spd or a Type-S (no more NBP's left in BC at the time). But then I consider that the tiptronic is still a lot of fun, plus sometimes I feel like I'd be too lazy to shift gears with a 6spd.

One of my fav things is coming on here and reading your guys' posts about new mods and the pics you guys post of you're sweet TL's. Motivates me!

I fell in love with the looks inside and out the first time I saw one and that's saying a lot since I'm not a big import fan. Then I dated a girl with a black '05 and knew I had to have one.

To this day I still turn around after walking away from the car to give it one more look. I work at a place where I'm in the bottom 10% of the payscale and most people drive Mercedes and Bimmers yet I get compliments all the time and many people think the TL is much more expensive than it really is.

It's amazing what a difference a slight drop with wider tires will make. Mine is mostly stock except for a slight drop, tint, and wider tires yet it looks so much better than stock. I had traded cars with the girlfriend for the day to haul some stuff. At lunch a saw a black TL and it really caught my eye. I was gawking at it and then realized it was mine. At least I know now that I don't just like it because it's mine.

I agree that the 4G just doesn't stand out and I believe the 3G will be a classic, the look will never get old.

the TL is a damn good car, beautiful and practical. I know many of you bought this car for retail price, but when i think about it in 2 - 3 years this car is going to flood your local roads like civics. That fact alone makes me want to upgrade soon. Right now, where i live its still rather an "exclusive" vehicle and it gets quite a lot of attention and almost unheard of for an 18 year old to be driving, but every day I am seeing quite a few TLs. A year ago i saw only one every month ! I reallyy love the TL and all but i dont want to feel like i own a civic.
