How do you clean your cupholder?
I spill some Coke in the central cupholder by mistake, now, it is kinda sticky ... any idea how to clean the bottom of it? Can the cup holder be removed for cleaing? Is it 'water proof'? I don't like that cheap cup holders, period. :rocketwho

Ooh, ooh, Ron A, where ya at? Here's another cupholder thread...let's bump it to the top and see how far it can run!
cutemp - The cupholders are deep so cleaning them can be a pain, but I would think any decent plastic cleaner sprayed on a paper towel or wipe could do the trick. You really don't like the cupholders? We had a fun little discussion about this not too long ago. I'd dig up a link to the old thread but it might be more fun to start it afresh - at least that's what Ron A wants!

Take some Fantastic cleaner from your grocer's shelves.
Get some no-lint fiber towels from WalMart.
Spray the Fantastic into the hole.
Wipe it with the no-lint fiber towels.
You have now cleaned your cupholder.

Let's breathe some life into the old turkey.
I would just let it die a natural death (again) but I don't want to disappoint the gator.
And just to stay focused on the question at hand, it does seem like it will be a little difficult to clean the cupholder, since it is not removeable. I guess you could fill it full of soapy water and use a wet/dry vacuum to suck it all up.

And thank you, rets, for the reference.

Little trick I learned from my mom. Place some knapkin in the cup holder to catch the excess spillage next time. That way your cup holder will stay clean - unless you spill the entire coke can.
