Hey everyone, I'm thinking about changing the nasty factory fog light bulbs on my 2005 TL but wanted to know if anyone has instructions (with pics) how do this this.

Also, would i be able to put HID's in the fog lights or not?

Thanks Lovemytl-s. I'm hoping i could do this soon as it's dead winter now and hopefully i might do this soon when the weather is better.

They're not too hard to replace. The passenger side lamps are the most difficult. Use of thin rubber gloves definitely helps get a grip on their bases.

No, you cannot replace your fog lamps (which are 9006) with HID lamps. HID lamps require ballasts and different sockets. There are kits available, but give this some consideration first before buying a kit.

^ i agree. I just replaced my fogs with some Hoen Endurance bulbs. Driver side was easy. Passenger side took a while....its def harder because there are metal edges around the area of the bulb socket. I couldn't twist it hard enough to get it loose, so I ended up using some pilers and worked perfectly. Just gripped it and turned gently.
