I'm just curious about one thing. I have a pair of HID bulbs (D2S) for the low beam. I want to know if there is a way to tell the life of the bulbs or how bright the bulbs are by just looking at it? Is there a specific place on the bulbs that I have to focus on to know this? The reason I am asking this question is because I have a pair of used bulbs and don't want to go through the hassle installing them and find out that the brightness output is bad. Any suggestion would help. Thank you.

I believe the only way to tell is to install them.Originally Posted by Sondinh
