How can i tell???

I have a 05' TL 6spd w/nav and i want to get some slotted/drilled rotoras for it. I cannot for the life of me tell if i have brembos on my car. all it is, is black calipers with white lettering of ACURA. Would that be the stock brembos that acura put on TL? or is it clearly marked BREMBO if if they are. Please let me know if possible, if a pic might help then i will post tommorrow? Thanks.

the front brembos are clearly large 4 piston calipers- compare them to the rears- non brembo fronts are barely larger than the rears

brembo caliper are factory painted black and say acura in white on them
see the many brake threads for best choices in parts- dont go cheap- brakes are what save your life!!!

All 2007-2008 TL-S models are brembos too regarding transmission.

sounds good. Does that mean the rotora big brake rotors can be used instead of the brembo rotors that is installed currently? if so that would be good and im about to hop on the group buy for the slotted/drilled rotors

No, not necessarily. You have to use the stock size rotor with the stock caliper. I am pretty sure (but not positive) that the Rotora BBK uses a bigger rotor than stock.

Rotora makes a slotted or slotted/drilled rotor for the Acura Brembo front. Check with vendor Excelerate (Josh), he can hook you up.

If your car is a 6speed you have brembos up front. They are larger then stock and black with the marking in white of "Acura"
