House fly's

does anyone notice flies chilling on their TL as if there was something rotting in the paint? Or maybe flies are just attracted to cars now? i know it sounds wierd but I can spot at least 10 flies just walking around on the hood of my TL.

No issues here in southern Cali. At least it's better than having dead rodents hanging out under the hood!!

No fly issue here in Florida. Were you eating on the hood?

Might be attracted to whatever wax/polish/soap you use on your car. Any other cars you see with this problem?

Clean cars, especially light colored cars like silver and white reflect more of the suns light. Much of that light is UV. Bugs, like flies are attracted to the UV light, much like a bug zapper... without the zap.

Wow that explains why my SSM always attracts bugs right after I wash it and it's clean and shiny.

I hate it because it attracts stinkbugs which leaves crap on the paint.

Yep. Ive noticed it is the worst when clean. For sure.

But this is NOT an excuse to not wash your car.

Everyone- keep the TL clean and classy.

I get a lot of them on my car, but I think that's more due to the fact that my wax smells like strawberries

Logical ... up here in the early spring car shows we notice exactly that ... flies landing all over light colored cars ... none on the dark ones.

Does it look like CBP or AM from all the layers of dirt and dust?
