Although this is not an 2004 Acura problem. For a few days last week, It was reported on the cable news channels, that there were Trany problems on a bunch of different Honda Models.

My brother lives across the street from me and he got a letter about 6 weeks ago from Honda, telling him to bring in his late model Odessy to the dealer.

The topic was Transmission Failure. He left the car there the whole day, given a loaner, and it's supposed to be fixed. Honda knew about this months ago.

 

Well it is well documented that the 2002 and some 2003 TL-S's have a problem, Acura extended the warranry on those models because of this.

My 2002 TL-S was on Tranny #4 when I returned it
