Honda Service is same as Acura Service?
I'm just curious, if I take my car to a Honda dealer to get like an oil change or whatever, will it be the same thing as taking it to the Acura but with a cheaper price? I know Acura dealer use Honda parts. If anyone know about this, please throw out some opinions. Thank you!!!

From my experience, no. But it's not that big of a deal unless you're getting warranty work done, which im not sure that the Honda dealership can do anyway.
If you're looking to save money, then I'd say go to Honda.

Depends: the acura dealer I take my car to is cheaper than the honda dealers and I get excellent service

they are different companies from the standpoint of warranty
But for oil change its fine to use honda if you are not a DIY person
They should be looking the car over/under- look at cv boots- all bushings-nothing loose or falling off after hit road kill....
ask if they are, or just pulling the drain plug and going for a smoke

Same oil filter as my Pilot, cabin filter is same as my Pilot, and air filter is also shared. Consumable parts are shared with Honda. They make Acura's at Honda assembly plants. Since I have both makes, it costs less to buy from Honda. I saved $10 on touch up paint.

I just called my local Honda dealer (O'Donnell Honda) and the S/A confirmed they DO work on Acura's (oil changes, brakes, etc.), but they do not do warranty work. When I asked for clarification on what warranty work is, she gave the scenario, "if you have a brand new Acura and the wiper motor goes, you have to take it to the Acura dealer".
Although I don't need service just yet, I forsee going to the Honda dealer for regularly scheduled maintenance (out of pocket) and the Acura dealer for any CPO / Warranty issues.

I previously took my car to Honda and it was always cheaper to get service done there vs. Acura. Then they decided I had to buy my Mobil 1 and filter from them (I used to bring my own parts/ fluids), so for the past few years, I've gone to Goodyear (they don't mind me supplying my own fluids/ parts):
Prices below are with me providing parts and fluids:
Oil/ filter change: ~ $17
Transmission 3x3 service recently: $79 (I know this took them some time, so I don't mind paying for it)
Brake rotor/ pad service: $92/axle
Brake fluid purge and 4 brake bleeding (they used their fluid): $99
Overall, I highly recommend them and if there's something they're not able to do, they will tell me up front.
I don't mind paying for this as I don't have the best tools to do all of this work myself.
