on the bright side, your tails look like they weren't victim to the hit and run.

try the heat method, then maybe those painless dent removal services can pull it out.

I had a scratch like that due to hitting my car on the basketbal hoop. My friend who owns his own shop buffed it out for me and added touch up paint and its 90% gone now. Definitely try that if the PDR is unsuccessful. Good luck

That sucks. Same thing happened to me a few months back at the movies. I had a body shop heat up the bumper and reshape it and then repaint it.

i doubt PDR will fix the plastic bumper without a respray. a ding like that will pop out most likely but the paint will be cracked when it does get popped back out. sorry this happened. shit always seems to happen to people sho care a lot about their cars rather than the other 90% of appliance drivers.

looks like the bumper was the only thing that got hit.

your options: get it repaired and resprayed ($4-500) OR buy a new bumper yourself ($250ish-OEM from vendor on here) and take it to a shop to have it painted, (another $250-300 depending on the shop) then DIY swap the new bumper for the old bumper while trasferring your aspec lip to the new bumper. a new bumper and respray will cost your about $6-700, just FIY.

the sooner you pop that out, the easier it will for the body shop to sand it down and get it perfect with filler and all. Wait longer and the plastic takes on the new shape.

Its at the body shop now... I just ordered a new type S bumper and theyre going to paint it and re-attach the Aspec moulding. Theyre a really good shop and got me the part at cost and giving me an out the door price of $600. Not too bad. When my spacer blew two months ago it was way more :/

That sucks man. Shit like this happens all the time here on base, for some reason Marines cant drive at all. On my last TL some guy pulled out of the spot next to me and cut it too hard, ripped my whole front bumper off, scraped my headlight and bent my fender. I got $1700 for it from his insurance, but I had to track down the truck cause it was a hit and run too. Good thing there were witnesses. If I were you I would scour the parking lots near you for a car with damage at the same height as yours. Take measurements from the ground (with pics) before they take off the bumper for reference. Someone had to have seen something- put up signs where you live. Good luck
