Ok so this morning i get this phone call around 10am, and its my little sister and she tells me that somebody "demolished" your car, im like "wtf?? are you talking about". So i look out my window and sure enough my freaking jaw drops to the ground. I see people standing around looking at my car, bumper is atleast like 6 ft away from the car. My first thought was that somebody was trying to steal my front lip or fogs? not sure. Anyways i called the cops to make a report and sure enough they arrive like 40 minutes later like always i give them my registration and insurance card the officer tells me that my policy is expired, what?!? hell to the no! is not, i just renew my policy the 8th of this month thats when i realized that i gave him the old one i told the officer that the new one was upstairs in the apartment he tells me "its ok, i dont wanna give u a hard time". weird lol. anyways an hour later the dude that hit my car comes back!! "shocker!!!" lmao. and hes telling how hes sorry about the accident ect. btw the apartment building has a camera in the front, so i tell the dude "i seen the video and about 20 cars drove past my car and yours was the only one that hit it, how bad of a driver are you??" so i tell him to come with me to get an estimate at this body shop in 241st and white plain rd, since he didnt want to deal with insurance. cool, we get to the shop and my boy eddie gives me an estimate of $2600 for new bumper, lip, sidemarker, type s rim, door panel, rear panel, side mirror. im thinking to myslef "f*** that alot of money i hope he has that kind of money to pay for it", out of nowhere the guy takes out a stack of 20's and pays the shop owner, hoooolyy sh*t! he tells me if thats cool and im like hell yea! shook his hand and drove him back to his van. So now i gotta bring the car back to the shop tomorrow and wont be getting it back until thursday

hmmm,... i just hope next post isnt the cost of repair is more than what the guy paid for....what do I do???

either a) this guy doesnt have insurance ( like most drivers in NY )
or b),...he was drunk ( like most hit and run drivers in NY )

most of the damage happen in the front the dents and scratched on the door and rea panel are not that serious. front bumper is like 300-400 front lip is like 300, 310 just to paint the bumper. 150 to restore the front rim ect. now im gonna have a new bumper, ive been wating to repaint it. so i win either way.

 

110% sure that's what happened.

 

funny thing is he was working, he didnt want to come to the shop at first because he might get in trouble with his employer. (some carpet company) i was surprised my self they should be more people like him, atleast he came back and apoligized and paid for everything. i almost feel sorry for the guy, even though im the victim.

 

yea the guy came back like an hour later after the accident so im pretty sure he went to get some money.

lmaoo, the dude seem nice he was in his late 40's-50's. he told me to call him on thursday to see how everything came out.

Looks like he just barely caught the front fender and tore the bumper off. You should be able to get that fixed very cheap.

You could always file a claim and pocket the money.

But seriously, there should be more people like that. I have so much anger built up from people damaging mine and the GF's stuff and taking off that I'm afraid of what's going to happen when I catch someone.

 

More like rear door panel lol it starts at the back all the way to the front. Even the side mirror is scratched to hell, thank god I had folded them in or else that wouldn't been gone.

 

Stand up guy, even if it's drug money. Take him out and buy him a few beers after your car's fixed.

Wow.. be grateful he came back and forked up the cash. So many times this happens and nobody ever knows who did the crime.

 

I was thinking of doing it, but i just don't like how the lip looks on a type s bumper even though I have the type s rear bumper I might think about it

 

The last thing I want wanna do is buy him beer lmaoo don't wanna see another tl looking like this around here lol

same shit happened with my old car...hit by a bronx cab (shocker huh) a woman in her house saw it and reported it when i called the cab company they told me he was fired bc the car was damaged and he couldnt explain why lol..good for u though man hope the repairs come out great
