Yeah, it's true....The car has been rock solid since day one!!!! Another fine Honda product.... Look out for a 200k picture thread in the photo section soon.

I'm looking forward to as many worry free miles in mine.
I had an Audi Allroad that was a fantastic car to drive. I just spent about $1,500 maintaining it as well as another $850.00 per year for tires. Extended warranty covered most of the maintenance (beyond services).

Not sure about gas prices by you but if you averaged 27mpg for that whole journey and gas is $2.80/gal avg... you spent around 20 grand in gas. You also consumed about 7400 gallons. Crazy to think about those numbers, but awesome that you've brought it that far already!

Drifting
Congratulations!
Wow that is an amazing feat. I have about 33K after almost 4 years. At this rate, it would take me another 19 years to catch to what Mmade22 has now. It's nice to know that this model can go the distance as proven here.
It would be great to hear how the electronics and interior is holding up. I trust all is good- that's my biggest fear down the road having the navi break or the radio for that matter. I have lots on confidence in the drive train and body integrity.

Wow! 200K in 5 years. Are you in sales? LOL Great to hear that the TL is holding up nicely. I"m sure your very proud of her. Keep her happy and you may get another 200K. 2nd timing belt should be coming up soon. I wonder how far the maintenance minder goes?

isn't the moon 200,000 miles away???
just looked it up, the moon is 250,000 miles away at it's furthest point and at it's closest, it's 221,000 miles away.
you traveled a little more then light travels in a second (186,000 miles/sec)
lets say your Average mile per hour was 30, that means you have been in your car for AT least 270 days worth. you have spent almost a years' worth of time inside of a TL. AMAZING.

Just recently hit 90k miles with my '04.
Glad to see a thread like this! Not sure if I'll keep mine that long but if I decide to it's good to see they last (though I really didn't doubt it too much).

I love to read posts like this. Confirms that my thoughts on our vehicle reliability is actually true. Doom and gloom gets more attention then the positive too much.

Congrats Jon
!
BTW- for the other people not familiar with Jon's service records, he is very organized, and I think I remember reading he is on his 3rd timing belt. (?) Keep it up!

NICE Jon! I plan on driving mine that many if not more! but i have a long ways to go!
^ why get the beater? i would drive the 120 mile roundtrip to work if i could afford the gas bill. but i cant so i take the train. IMO a car is meant to be driven and a fine/quality honda product such as the TL deserves to be driven as she will reward you with great reliability. maybe your tryin to get a good resale value?
