Hit the 100000 mile club
Bought the car last July with 30k miles on it and she has been around the block a few times over the past year and half. I have been good to her and she has been good to me. I will hit the 105k mark in a month so I will be hitting the dealer for the timing belt, water pump, etc. All other work has been performed by me. I would go broke if I had the dealer change the oil once a month. Not to mention the trans fluid, plugs, filters, etc.
I am not joking when I say this, I need at least another 150k out of her before I even think about a new car. Thank god I bought an Acura. I will keep everyone posted how she holds up over the months.
I did 432 miles today. The 825 trip miles is what I have done since Monday!!

Trans fluid needs to be changed and the plugs, seafoam in the tank, all filters changed, in other words.....maintenance.
These cars are great as long as you take care of them. The way you drive always helps.

It's a additive to add to your gas to clean the fuel injectors. Can be bought at any auto parts store. Search on here and you will see a lot of people using it. I am getting 32 mpg on warm days all highway...

I have a 03 CL S 6spd and have been thinking about trading it in for a TL. Glad to see these cars don't have any maint issues.
I have 115K on the clock now.

Wow! Based from the pics of your car that you had posted in the past, I would never had known that it had that high of a mileage. That's awesome! I need to seafoam my car next. It's at 56K now.

Well, I posted this thread exactly a week ago as the car turned 100k. It has been one hell of a week. Just got back from MD today and I am still getting sick miles per gallon.
Mostly all highway driving doing 75 mph on the highway and I am pulling great numbers!!!!
While driving at night. I love the interior lighting at night. Notice the 9500I by the rearview and the Stilletto in the left corner. It all blends in nice.
What milage is on the car a week later. I have been living in the car the last three days.

I'll hit 110,000 miles tomorrow or Saturday and I'm still running strong. I have an NBP '04 TL that I bought in October 2003. I and a couple of co-workers were going to lunch and one of them looks at me and asks "you got a new car?" I said... "huh? no. I've had it for 5 years!"... he responds with "damn, that thing still looks new". lol.
No major (or any unscheduled repairs) yet. I've changed the timing belt and it's almost time to change the brakes (the biggest weakness about the car - they've been squealing since they were put on , basically, and Goodson Acura and Honda refused to do anything about it other than "we resurfaced your rotors!" ... about 5 times). It's also almost time for some new tires.
On trips to Houston from Dallas, I average about 31-33 mpg (if you believe the MID, that is, which I'm not sure I completely do). I'm going to keep driving black beauty for a while unless she starts giving me a lot of problems.

I bought my 05 TL brand new in Oct 05. Just in January of this year I ONLY had 16k miles on it and I currently have 31k and I thought I had done some driving this year...lol. Damn now that I think about it I can't believe I doubled my baby's mileage in less than a year. I put more miles on it in 11 months than I did in 2 years...

The car now has 104,000 miles on it. Drove 3400 miles the past two work weeks. I am off to GA on Monday and then to TN on Tuesday. Wed, who knows were I will be. Ordering the timing belt, belt tensioner, valve cover gaskets, crankcase seal, drive belt, and water pump from an Acura vendor online. Another member on here hooked me up with a Certified Honda tech that is allowed to do side work on Saturdays at the dealer. Talk about a lucky break!!
I am going to start a thread in about a month to show the cost of repairs on a car with this many miles by doing most of the repairs myself.
Just got tires installed today and a 4 wheel alignment. I should be good for another 35k on tires.

I bought mine in June '06 and just turned 20K. I hope that I have as much good luck as you and will see 100,000+ miles on my TL.
Congrats and keep up with the maintenance.

I wasn't aware you were in Richmond. Next time I head up that way, I will take you up on that. The mid says 32 which is close to what I actually get. I am doing the math each tank and it is about 30-31mpg each and every time!
