His and Hers TL's

Fun weekend, I just picked up my WDP 6mt last week and wound up getting an anthracite auto TL for my wife Saturday. Originally wifey wanted a TSX but the car is a pig so I suggested she try an Automatic TL since she likes my car so much. She loved the acceleration (used to have an 03 MAX). So we worked the numbers and wound up getting a way better deal on the TL than the TSX. The suck part is now when we go shopping we have to park either car 500 yards away from the door swinging, toothless, unbathed masses.

I got the 18's for my ride so the wife gets to totally resurface her wheels once, and I can just slap my 17 " take offs on her TL.

Still cant get over how much the 06 feels different than the 04. the car now feels like a $35K not a $17K Cavalier. I would attribute this to the following.

Extra sound deadning material
0 rattles
real oem tires

I would highly recomend Davis Acura of Langhorne, PA. Our sales guy Derek Taylor was awesome and was willing to work with us to get the deal done.

You've got an AT and an MT. Best of both worlds for whatever the traffic condition, I'm so envious..

Same thing here. Mine is an '04 Anthracite/Ebony/6MT/Nav and the wife's is an '05 Satin Silver/Quartz/5AT/Nav. When her '96 328i decided to crap out again last spring, we started looking for a TSX for her. She asked to drive mine on the way to the dealer and that was it. She test drove a TSX, but could not get past the fact that my TL was so much better. A week later, we bought hers.

So we also have twin TLs in the garage.

That's cute. My girlfriend and I both have 05 TLs. And, we met thru acurazine! We both just got plates with our forum names on them (we also use the names for other online stuff) Tzakiel, and Pinky TL So we can really relate to His and Hers!

Awwwwww, that's so cute! :gheyhug:

I'm lucky my wife isn't so interested in cars. She'll be happy with the Accord I just finished paying off for years to come. More $$$ for mods!
