According to the dealer the flywheel itself costs $1000

i only have 108k miles and mine leaked so replaced some already. ( I don’t remember exactly but I was at 85-90k miles when that happened ) it was cheaper than getting a Gordon Murray T50, the natural successor to the excellent 3G TL, so I settled for the shocks replacement.

Highly unusual; mine have over 175,000 and are dry and a bone and fully operable, my previous Accord was over 200,000 miles and still going strong on the factory shocks and struts.

Why do you think they're called stealerships?

Think so? So did I until I replaced them. The thing is, they wear out so slowly and gradually you barely notice the difference. Once I replaced my strut assemblies, WOW what difference! If you have that much mileage, replace them! Mine were bone dry too.
