The HID's in your TL's
The HID's in your TL's
basically I run The Retrofit Source which is one of the largest distributors of HID retrofit components in the world.
I just because a vendor here to offer some cool headlight services to you guys
I also wanted to offer this peice of information for you. you should be proud of your new Acura TL's headlights, they feature the BEST Bi-xenon projector currently available out on the market. Produced by Stanley, the TL Bi-xenon projector outperforms all other Bi-xenon projectors in terms of beam width, and uniformity in light output.
So if some d-bag with a bimmer or a benz trys talkin shit, tell him your headlights are will outshine his anyday.
Which is true, BMW's, Mercedes, Saabs, Audis - They all use German engineered projectors from the makes of Hella and Automotive Lighting, which generally arent nearly as high performers as the ones produced by Stanley. The TSX also uses one of the most sought after projectors by retrofitters in their headlights.

see for yourself:
TL Projector output:

A Hella Projector from an Audi A6:

A Bosch Bi-xenon Projector from a BMW E46

see how much more evenly spread out and defined the TL's beam pattern is comparatively?
alright, so maybe you think the others are still cooler since they have that blue-ish hue at the top of the light cutoff, well that can all be changed with some color mods and or a lens swaps. check out the TL output with these mods: even more badass

Is this Matt with the supercharged Stratus from Michigan? Used to hang out in East Lansing? I know you said you're located in Columbus, but taking a shot in the dark here. Just curious.
Honda/Acura have four vehicles with HID (S2000,TSX,TL,RL) ,from what i have seen the TLs is the worst of the bunch . TSX HID is the best all around brighter, spread more to the side, and cleaner cut. The TL bi-xenon is the best when retrofit to a diffrent car but on the TL it no brighter then those Euro cars out there.
