Check your power and grounds. If you have a crappy connection anywhere the ballasts won't get enough power. If you ran your relay from the battery, make sure the terminals are clean.

dude, if you get a relay, it will solve the problems....
any time you upgrade non-hids to HIDS you need a relay.
I'll rephrase...
Anytime you upgrade stock to aftermarket ANYTHING, you're going to have to trouble shoot, as sometimes it wont work 100%.
so, the OP in the link you provided could have some bad connections some where on his setup, or he purchased faulty hardware, we dont know.
Just be ready to trouble shoot, if things go awry.
*edit
Oh the OP is you, in that thread.
LOL
you couldnt get it working or what? LOL
*Edit #2
LOL you could have just bumped that thread....
so did you check all your connections?
*edit #3
you need to trouble shoot by switching ballast to the other side, if the problem follows then its the ballast. do the same for the bulbs, and the relay.

i don't have a relay for my HID fogs...![Ninja](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/ninja.gif)
OP, check all connections and make sure they are tight, check ground wires, check from front to back and make sure everything is as it should be.
justnspace had good suggestions as well. good luck.

^guess it might depend on which ones you go with.
i got the ddmtuning 5000k fogs and just swapped them out. no harness.
doing the reverse HID's soon and they def do require the harness.

Good answer is: swap out the 10A fuse for a 15A one. Best answer is: get the HID relay kit. I found these videos on youtube.

Guys, I can't stress this enough:
Relay harnesses are an absolute must on any HID kit.
JnC posted a bunch of pics of a car that burned b/c the guy did not use a harness on his kit. I just checked the post but the pics got removed from photobucket.
There is just too much amperage going thru the wires upon startup to trust the dinky OEM wiring. For anyone out there running their HIDs with no harness, I strongly urge you to spend the $15 and install one. A car fire is no joke, especially in a garage that sits right under your bedroom.
Sharksbreath, buy another harness for your fogs---we can install it when we do the reverse HIDs. I highly recommend you disconnect the HIDs until we install it.
As for where to buy, there have been good sites mentioned already. It can also be as easy as searching Google for "HID Relay Harness". There are numerous threads on AZ that detail how to install. I would be happy to answer any questions, as well.
OP, once you get the harness installed: If you still have trouble, you need to start swapping stuff around to isolate the problem. Start with the bulbs since they are the easiest.

Turn them off and then back on right away, if the right one lights up that pretty much means you got crappy HIDs. I had this happening on my previous car, Maxima, sometimes one of them wouldn't come on untill I turned the lights off then on again.
Aftermarket HID's have little to no quality control, especially the ones that sell for like 30-40 bucks, and if you installed in in the shop and they charged around 100 bucks, rest asured that you have a set of 30 dollar "made in a sweatshop in China" HID's.
Once I got a pair of PIAA HID's for about 100 bucks (made in Germany) never had this problem again.

i just installed 3000k ddm tuning into my stock fogs (lower bumper, i drive 07 base)
when i turned on the fogs without the engine running, they would blink for 5-10sec before fully turning on. on a 1hr trip home, they wouldn't turn on anymore half way through the trip.
gonna buy a relay now. too bad ddm took about a month to ship my fogs. hope i get faster results with the relay.
