You ran your own relay using the oem combination switch?? Just curious if all worked with that cause I dont think anyone has actually done it on an 04-06

Finally sorry for lagging if you guys were waiting but here is my diagram that i whipped up. This is to obtain the oem fog light with a hid harness or customer harness. I tried to implement as much stuff as i can on the drawing so hopefully it helps. I had no issues with this, had it running 6 hours straight while i was on vacation this weekend and no problems with the fogs at all!. This will let you use your fog lights when your key is on the "ON" position. So as long as the key is on the "ON" position. Your fog lighst will be able to come on with Parking Lights, Headlights, High beams, etc.

I have a few questions:
1. What size wire should we use to go from the relay to the positive terminal on the battery since its a 30amp fuse. (I have my power wire for my aftermarket amp on there now)

2. Does the 15amp fuses show above come with an HID harness? If not how do we tie this into the HID harness?

3. Do we have to use a diode?

Thanks!~

Take a look at Roger555's DIY before attempting this.

Several members had some trouble with his method. Read through the entire thread before beginning this mod.

The thread did not come up, but if it is the one below I have saved this subscribtion also. I dont want to cut into the harness on the stalk and I have an CPO 07 TL-S still with warranty. I also read someone wasn't sure if the factory fog light relay/module is located in the same area since roger's is an 06.
