HID fog light relay

Just ordered a HID kit for my fogs (08 Base TL). I've been reading up and will buy a relay harness just to be safe. My question is do we need to have a relay for each ballast or will one do just fine? Thanks in advance.

i have HID's for my fogs and don't have a relay have not had a issue yet just upped my fuse from 10a to 15a, cuz 10 will blow but you could go the relay route as well....I have 35w fog HID which the stock is also 35w...55w I would not recommend cuz it could melt wires and bulbs from so much heat in a tight space...good luck and also I believe 1 relay should do it for both but I haven't gone that route so maybe someone who has can post and let you know...

1 Relay works for both. Relays protects your factory wiring. It's cheap and easy to install, so why not play it safe. Also since you have an 08, the relay will give allow you to install and independent switch, should you want to control your fogs independent of headlight

No need. The factory wiring is fine for a 15 amp fuse which most OEM systems have but Honda went with a 10 amp. The stock RELAY even shows 15 amp.

So slap a 15 amp fuse in there and you will be fine. Been using mine with 0 issues. And this is coming from a Electrical Engineer.
