HID Extra Foglight Issues...Please Help!

Hello all,

just bought an HID kit from HIDExtra and got them installed on my 07 TL. The issue I am having is the Left Bulb is emitting more of a green hue than the right bulb which looks 3000k yellow. I ordered the 3000k bulbs. Now, in order for me to figure out if its the left bulb or ballast, I have to pay the installer to switch bulbs or ballasts, etc. I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before and found out what the problem is. Could it just be a bad bulb, even though it was brand new??

thanks

its definitely the bulbs. gas inside of it is slightly different. contact the hid company and tell them to exchange for new kit. HID extra is a cheap company for hids.

I agree, they are good with their warranty though, I had a bulb go out and they replaced it. Then when i got the new bulb it had a completely differenct color than the original. So i contacted them with pcs and they sent me two new bulbs.

I have HIDEXTRA HIDS in all my cars. I think the problem might be your bulbs. On my other car I had ordered a 8000k hid fog kit and the left fog was more of a 6000k color while the right was 8000k. I sent them pictures showing the color mismatch and they sent me new bulbs. The new bulbs fixed my problem!

And my HIDEXTRA 3000k bulbs in my TL don't look yellow...they look 5kish...with the yellow overlays they look yellow. I would just ask for a new pair of 3000k bulbs...they have great customer service!

Hello,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience.
In regards to your question, There may be a malfunctioning part. To determine this, simply swap the ballast from the non-working side to the working side to see if the problem follows. Do the same for the bulb.

And Please email help@hidsupport.com so we can further assist you with your replacement/s.

Thank you.
