Well pull the bumper and headlights would be the easiest way or try removing wheels and fender liner and try to sneak them out but it seems like PITA...

You should know that the 3G TL does not have low/high beam headlamps. The are simply HID lamps.

I have yet to change them in either of my 3G TL's and don't look forward to doing this when it is needed. As for going to 8000 kelvin lamps, I strongly suggest you give this serious consideration. You will lose a significant amount of usable light and your lamps are not going to be good at all in the rain.

you cant.

reason being that you will be ricing out your luxurious TL with ricer blue headlights. remember, the TL projectors are one of the best in the world, dont disgrace it by putting ricer bulbs. if you really want to look cool, get the osram CBI and ZKW lens. trust me you will blow away 99% of car headlights in the world with those and still look cool.

Going through the fenderwheel is a pain in the ass. Even if you have the hex security screw to get the cover off. Just take off the bumper.

+1

I have 8000k in my BMW and its fine. Its not deep blue its iceberg blue. I have 10000k bulbs in my car and those are deep blue but they look okay for the fogs.

I have 8k from DDM tuning and they aren't that blue at all, more like 6k. light output hasn't really been affected.

And yes they are a PAIN to change, i went through the fender well, took me like 30 minutes each side trying to feel around, screw, unscrewing that little piece and then trying to make sure the bulb is in there nice and tight.
