i bought an hid kit from them. sucked ass sorry. the ballast would flicker and sometimes would not ignite on one side. not sure about the quality of the bulbs. i would personally go with oem bulbs even if the cost more. gives me that peace of mind.

^ That could be from the factory wire harnesses not providing enough power for them to run, that's why the recommend the Relay kit!

To the OP, do you need a 6000K bulb? If yes, I'd say go with it after checking the warranty/return policy. If not, then I'd suggest the Philips 81552+ bulbs @ theretrofitsource! They are around 90 dollars and some of the best on the market!

DDM tuning sells bulbs for $18 shipped I believe and I like them A LOT over HIDextra. I have been dealing with HIDextra for months until they just showed me that they have no customer appreciation and once I have a problem, they can't fix it and had no answer except we will send you another one. Well All 6 times they "sent me a new one", it never solved the problem then wanted to refund me a partial refund minus shipping. IT WAS THEIR FAULT, and I have to deal with it? There customer service is horrible and DDM tunings pricing is a lot cheaper. Also, HIDextras colors are off, there bulbs are horrible. I am not just saying this as an angry customer, but I have bought at least 15 sets since I do custom accord fog lights and through out my experience it was just not professional. Also they sell a kit at a specific price at 56$ shipped, I asked well I want 10 kits so can you just cut down 1-2 dollars a kit since you will ship them together, and not that they can't, they said they wouldn't.

The retrofit source is owned by MATT, and he has one of the best customer services I have ever dealt with. I would just buy the bulbs right the first time from him.

Just installed the bulbs Halo brand...although i dont see much difference in color, the brightens though is a step down from Kaixen i had before..you can tell righ of way when you turn them on the bulb does not heat up it just lights up and stayes the same.

Also the quality is kind of shit when you compare them close buy.

I picked up a pair of bulbs from DDM Tuning for $12.50 plus tax. Unfortunately, although the driver's side bulb appears to be burned out, it still doesn't work, so maybe the ballast blew and took the bulb with it (yeah, fuse appears to be fine... now where did I put my dam multimeter...).

Put your stock bulb back in and see if that works. If not, its the ballast.

Funny thing...

I took the bumper off and pulled the headlight out. Before going further, I hooked it back up and... dang thing worked. Well, The driver's side was a real pain to get at without pulling the bumper, so it's possible the connection wasn't tight or something, though I had my buddy (borrowed his torx security bit) and my son (along for the ride) with their hands at it too, so I don't know how all three of us could have goofed. I'm not complaining though, it's working, and it cost me about $13.50 and a little time.
