So i bought a cheap pair of 30 dollar 8000k bulbs off ebay....2 weeks with the dam bulbs and the driver side decides to come on sometimes and other times does not turn on unless i keep turning the headlight on and off....

anyways i was searching and read about another guy with the same problem but my problems arent clear to me yet


do you guys think that its the quality of the bulb thats causing it to turn on when it wants to....

also im thinking about getting Kaixen 8500k HID bulbs
i have 8000k on my lower fogs so i shudnt be losing too much output

i usually get 8000k but Kaixen offers only 8500k

anyone have pics of it and will it match with my 8000k fogs?

ebay generally is not the ideal place to buy bulbs but i have done it plenty times in the past without much problem. you can always test out the system but using different set of bulbs to see if they work or not

have you tried hidextra (sp)? it's another vendor who is selling bulbs and kit but in fraction of what kaixen is charging. i bought a pair for 35 and it's running strong so far.

my current bulb eventually turns on tho...do u think i can wait it out a month or will i risk damaging the ballast

ya i will eventually get those but its just a pain to remove the bumper...then the headlights and then to change the bulbs..

i was just wondering if it can potentially damage my ballasts if i keep using this bulb for another month because i plan on blacking out the housing in a month so itd just be easier to change the bulbs then
