HID light pattern

I noticed something a little "off" on my drivers side beam pattern tonight and wanted to get some opinions on if this is normal or def. a little out of place.

I do notice that my drivers side does shake, or jiggle, when going over rough bumps, so I am thinking it may have something to do with that but not sure.

I've circled the area (in red) for the specifec area I am talking about. It just doesn't seem right to me.

why not pull up to a wall and see if something's misaligned. From initial impressions it doesnt look symmetrical.

If it is shaking then time to take a closer look at the headlight assembly. Might need to pull the bumper off and remove the headlight for a better look to see what's going on. I doubt the entire assembly is moving up and down or you'd be able to move it by hand from the outside.

Your bulb could not be secured in the housing? I've had this issued as well. I don't think it's a big deal.

As for the area you have circled in red, that's the foreground limiter, that is the way it is supposed to be.

Well from the pic it doesn't look off... Acura designed it specifically to appear that way as to not blind oncoming traffic passing on ur left side... this bugged me forever as well so I looked into it and came across an offical monthly newsletter to the dealerships explaining such.

I don't remember it being like that previously, but I am not sure it was as noticable as it is now.

I don't think there should be that much of a foreground limit as it is barely lighting up within 10-15ft in front of the car. I will probably take it to the dealer, but they probably will say that there isn't anything wrong.

that side does look a little off, but then again it could be just the angle..? i had a friend with a tsx that had wiggling in his headlight and the dealer replaced the whole unit, unsure what it was inside that was loose though.. it sucks but you might want to take a closer look (removing the whole unit) as it's hard to tell while on the car since it's a pain to get to..

^Not sure about the angle, I took those pics from the drivers seat directly looking ahead, and I didn't notice this before so I figured it was off a little.

Can someone please post a pic of there beam pattern if you get a chance so I can compare it is really bothering me.

The area that you have marked is VERY close to the car; even if it was lighted, it would be too late...

Headlights are and should be designed to light up what is in front of you, so that you may dodge/ veer to avoid the obstacle. Doesn't seem as though there is anything wrong with your light pattern. But to confirm I recommend you take a picture of your lights against a wall from what I believe is 25ft... Correct me if I am wrong.

The shake/jiggle could be that the projector has come loose. Modified headlights?

^No, haven't made any changes at all to the headlights. I just noticed the bulb would jiggle a little when going over bumps but didn't really pay much attention to it.

I will try to get pics against a wall and post them as well.

Nate are those your headlights? I guess it is normal as the foreground limiter is greatly reduced after about a minute that I noticed.

What's the point of the limiter anyways as I feel that it looks goofy and loses the luxury look to it. Anyway to reduce or remove if new bulbs are installed, specifically Osram CBIs and can JnC do this mod?

The foreground limiter I believe it is there to reduce intensity. Search on hidplanet. People have modded them and just cut the foreground limiter out, but like ive said it'll lose intensity.

The PDF is down, but their might be good info here.
