HID ballast...

Does anyone know if the 3g TL's use the same ballast for the HID low beams as the 2g's do?

for HIDs, you can have the same ballast run a D2R bulb and D2S bulb, doens't matter. ballast are generally all the same. however the reason it's called "bi-xenon" is the bulb does not generate more light it's the shield in the projector that lifts up to let more light out. the shield raises to get rid of the "cut-off" line. no extra light is being generated. very very simple design huh? haha

and for the first question. i'm not too sure.
