HID 8000K Help !!
So I'm A Lil New To The Whole HID Thing....
I Want To Convert Over To 8000k HID Headlights For My 2008 TL-S. So I Was Wondering, Do I Need To Buy The Whole HID Kit with Ballast And Everything Or Can I Just Buy The 8000k HID Bulb?
Help Need ASAP...

You already have the ballast; you have HID headlights. Just put in the bulbs you want (assuming they match the OE power spec and plug).

All You Will Need Is A "D2S" Bulb To Replace The Stock OEM Ones.
The Ballast Is For People Switching From Halogen Bulbs To HID Bulbs, Because Halogen Bulbs Don't Use Ballasts.
An Example Would Be Like Switching Your Lower Fog Lights From The Stock Halogen Bulb To HID. In That Case You Will Need The Whole Kit. Bulbs, Relay Harness, And Ballasts.
Your Fog Light Bulb Size Is "H8"

Everyone I'm Thinking 8000k Headlights w. Either 3000k or 6000k Fogs ....
@Mafyoso i Like The Way Your 8000k HID Looks w. 3000k Fogs...Where'd you get your bulbs?

Do not get 8000k. I have 8000k on my BMW and its terrible at night. In rural areas I have to constantly run my hibeam....thats how bad 8000k is. Cars with halogen lights have better output then my 8000k lights. As soon as the 8000k bulbs die I am going to go with 6000k.
Sure 8000k looks really cool. I have 8000k fogs and the matching look is perfect but safety>look. Get 6000k .

If you have to...8k with 3k or 2500k fogs. Throwing a 6k in the fogs would look retarded as you'd have 2 separate blues. It'd look like you got the wrong part but didn't notice it.
Personally...I think getting 4,500k or 5k in both and lighting that damn road up like it's daytime would be much cooler looking.

8000k you might as well put flash-lights in your headlights. Anything above 6k is useless. Your light output will be terrible and you will look like a punk driving with blue headlights
