what are you going to submit to show it was disconnected before mileage/time? That’s what I’m struggling with

We could "object" to the settlement basically outlining that proof of us purchasing a replacement HFL is a stretch given that we are talking about 17 year old cars and who saves their bank statements for 7 or more years! Or we just get creative and re-create some dealership invoices...

If one bought a HON or FM Bluetooth adapter, that would indicate that the HFL was disconnected at that point.
Other invoices for new tires, emissions/smog checks from around the approximate time period of the Bluetooth adapter would show the date and mileage on the car; a copy of the mileage reported to an insurer for annual auto insurance might work as well.

If the car was taken to a mechanic/dealer for work, the dealer/mechanic might have the service records if one did not keep a separate file for work on the TL.

G/L.

I hate class action, because the sheer volume sale of the 3G TL. Each owner be getting like $20 while the law firm got big chunk, in the end we still stuck with death outdated HFL. Good luck getting Acura fix anything nowdays.

There are automotive invoice templates online for free. In my case, I had a couple receipts for battery exchanges. I got approved for the settlement:

Dear Valued Customer:

We have received your request for reconsideration about your claim in the HandsFreeLink Class Action settlement. After reviewing your request, including any supporting documents you may have submitted, the Settlement Administrator has accepted your claim. Your check will be sent by mail within 45 days after the date the settlement becomes final. For more details, please visit the settlement website www.handsfreelinksettlement.com.

I don't remember asking for "reconsideration", so maybe they send the same form letter to everyone?
