HELP!!! TL-S rear side marker conversion on 05

I just purchased a rear side marker set for 07-08 TL-S online and recieved them today, I THOUGHT I could just pop out the old one and put in the new one but it looks as if I have to change the plug to the new one that is provided.....how do I free the wires from the old plug???

I just did this on my '06 last week and you DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE THE PLUG. You're right that it is shaped differently, but if you just shove it in there, it will fit and it won't cause any damage to anything. Don't worry, just plug it in and all will be well.

^he's right. you dont need to change the plug. one side of mine went in easily the other you just have to wiggle to get it in correct. it make take some time/effort to get it to fit perfectly but it DOES fit.

Wink There is a fix for this.

It works...or you could do it the right way and change out the plug for the correct one... 10 minute job and $5 worth of parts. I'd tell you about it but you didn't like my wheels and I hold grudges...LOL.
