Help with scratches on the interior plastic!
I've recently discovered that the plastic near the rear passenger side door has been scuffed by someone who must have stepped on it to get out of the car. It's deep enough that I won't buff out - I've tried 303.
I've done a search, and from what I've read, it has to be sanded out. My question is - has anyone had any experience with this, or if anyone knows of a better way to fix this problem?
I'm so mad!! May car has been tainted!!!!

I have a few deep ones from girls with heels on. I've done everything I can, but no luck. I'm just gonna call a few junk yeards and see if they have the pieces in better condition.
By the way, 303 won't get scratches out. There are plastic polishes on the market, but given the fact that the finish on out plastic is not smooth it will take away the finish. Your better off getting a new piece.

I have clear bra material on those areas prone to scuff like rocker panels and bumper lip below the trunk. There are plenty of places on the web you can get the 3M clear bra bulk film. Cut to whatever size you wish and apply.
