So three nights ago when driving my car became super sluggish, hard time accelerating from stoplights, it’s was super sluggish loss of power power. No new warning lights flashed appeared, No Blinking D or and other’s. It wasn’t until I got home to take a gander just to see that I noticed my coolant reservoir had a thin split in the top spraying coolant all throughout the Engine area. That’s when I decided to use the little OBD reader & those are the codes that came up. I’ve had the Po138 for sometime now. I haven’t driven the car since as I’ve Googled P01717, seeing possibly transmission issue, I didn’t want to chance worsening my vehicles issue. I seen The 3rd&4th gear switch’s and was going to order those and do a DIY however I just wanted to see if that should be the route I take? Could this have been caused from my procrastination of not repairing the Bank1Sensor 2? Could it be something major or minor? I’ve looked & looked and now I’m lost in the area of What to try & what to do. If someone help possibly pointing me in the right direction, I’d be appreciative.
** I did get a new cap, hoses & coolant for the coolant reserve.**
